The official reports show that a pedestrian was walking east around 6:20 in the afternoon on Minkler Road when he was hit by a pickup truck. The truck kept on going while the man was left behind. The authorities claim he was flown to the hospital immediately but unfortunately he was unable to survive the injuries.

A group of men who were unknown to locals where seen drinking from around 3pm until close, they were all heavily under the influence. A man inside the pub had said “They all seemed to be trying to talk to any woman they possibly could and were very drunk from the first time I saw them.” After they had approach a lady who told them to leave as she had a boyfriend they continued to provoke her until the boyfriend came back to the table. Once the pub had closed the group of 6 men all attacked the boyfriend and left him fighting for his life. The man now can only see out of one eye and has been on crutches for two months. Police are asking for all witness to come forward to help with the investigation.

He Was Not Even Drinking
Sunday, November 13th, 2011I never thought much about the dinner dates that my husband and I would have with one another as far as alcohol went. We would usually have a couple of glasses of wine each, but we would never drive away if we felt we were impaired. There have been times where we sat for a couple of hours in the car just talking and catching up with one another instead of driving home when there was a chance of being impaired. We were pulled over one night and I know my husband was not drunk because he didn’t even have a glass of wine at dinner. He was sick and taking medication, so he opted to have iced tea instead.
